Information we collect
Action Camera Auditor ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit actioncameraauditor.com (the "Site").
The Site is a set of static pages. There is no account system, no login, and no comment system. The only data collected in normal browsing is standard web-server request logging by our host and whatever our analytics provider records, described below.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read. This records anonymous aggregate data — pages viewed, time on page, referring source, country — and is not used to build a profile of you or to track you across other sites.
Cookies
- Essential — none are required for the Site to function. Nothing on the Site is gated behind a cookie.
- Analytics — our analytics provider may set a cookie or use equivalent local storage to distinguish one visit from another.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them does not affect anything you can read here.
Advertising
We do not run display advertising. No advertising network is loaded on any page of this site, no ad cookies are set by us, and there are no ad slots in any layout.
Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links, under the terms set out in our affiliate disclosure. When you follow one, the destination retailer will apply its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. That is their processing, not ours, and we receive no personal information about you as a result of it — only aggregate commission reporting.
At the time of writing, no affiliate links are live on this site.
Fonts and third-party assets
Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com when you load a page. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No other third-party asset is loaded.
Data you submit
If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to respond and to correct the page it relates to. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties except where required by law.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:
- request access to any personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of it;
- opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell personal data, to anyone, ever.
